Silicone gel sheet made from a clear, soft, medical grade silicone material that sticks to the scar. It is a safe and effective treatment that helps flatten and soften scar tissue.

Intended Purpose:
• Intended to manage excessive, abnormal hypertrophic or keloid scars resulting from surgery, acne, accidents, cuts, burns, or other injuries.
• Prevents the development of new abnormal scars while treat existing scars also may decrease scar itching and pain.

Contraindications & Precautions

Contraindications:
• Do not apply the silicone gel to open or infected wounds, scabs, sutures, inflamed scar/ skin/ wound.
• In some individuals, a rash itching can develop under the silicone gel, especially on hot days or when playing
sport. If this happens, remove the Patch or wash the gel, and contact your health care professional.
Precautions:
• For external use only.
• Should not be placed in contact with mucous membranes or applied too close to the eyes.
• Should not be used concurrently with other skin medications without the advice of a health care professional.
• Keep this product out of the reach of children.
• Do not use on lip scars for infants less than 5 years.

Instructions for Use

Instruction for Use:
1. Silicone gel sheet should be precisely cut to fit the shape and size of the scar.
2. Clean the scar and surrounding skin with water.
3. Pat the skin dry.
4. Peel Scar Reduction Patch off the protective plastic liner.
5. Save the protective liner for later use (in case of reuse).
6. Place the sticky side of the silicone gel sheet directly on the scar.
7. Cure-Aid® Scar Reduction Patch may be held in place with adhesive tape.
8. If adhesive tape is difficult or painful to remove, soak the tape with vegetable oil for 15 – 30 minutes before
removing.
Instructions of Reuse:
1. Patients must wash Cure-Aid® Scar Reduction Patch regularly to prevent infection or rashes.
2. During warm weather or during periods of increased physical activity, the patch should be washed twice
daily, to remain fully effective.
3. Simply wash the patch with mild soap. Avoid using any other household cleansing products.
4. Pat the patch until drying using a non-fluffy (lint free) cloth and cover with the protective liner.
5. Before reapplying the patch, clean the scarred area too.
