Contraindications & Precautions

Contraindications:
There are no absolute contra-indications to the use of the products, but don’t use on patients with
known sensitivity to the product or any of its components.

Precautions:
• Reuse of the product increases risk of infection or cross-contamination.
• Dispose as a contaminated waste.
• The dressing should not be used with highly exuding wounds as it may cause tissue maceration.
• The dressing should not be used on patients with known sensitivity to acrylic adhesive.
• The dressing should not be used on full thickness wounds and third-degree burns. It can be applied on
infected wounds only under medical supervision.
• The skin should be clear and dry before application to ensure good adhesion.
