Contraindications:
• Don’t use on patients with known sensitivity to acrylic adhesive.
• Do not defibrillate through plastic drapes as arcing or ineffective defibrillation may result.
Precautions:
• The skin should be clean, dry, and free of skin oils to assure good adhesion.
• The drapes should not be applied under tension.
• The device should not be used if the package is damaged.
• For single use only. Reuse may cause cross contamination.
Application Method:
1. Disinfect the skin with your usual skin-preparation. Allow the skin-preparation agent to dry completely.
2. Using two people, remove the liner on the drapes.
3. Hold the drape over the intended incision site with adequate tension but without over stretching.
4. Smooth the drape first along the intended incision line with a sterile towel.
5. The film adheres to the skin and the surgeon cuts through the skin and the drape itself.
Removal Method:
Remove the film by folding the drape 180° back on itself. Pull gently with even tension.
