Description

Airoplast is a medical adhesive tape made of a transparent plastic film coated on one side with hypoallergenic adhesive, the perforated plastic tape tears easily.

Intended purpose:
Medical adhesive tapes are used to be Hypoallergenic for securing catheters and drainage tubes and reduce the risk of injury.

Mainly used on patients who are sensitive to traditional adhesive Tapes.

Contraindications & Precautions

Contra-indications:
• Do not use on an infected wound unless under medical supervision.
• Do not use in case of sensitivity to any of the tape components and Medical adhesives
Warnings:
• For single use only. Re-using will cause cross contamination.
• Dispose as contaminated product.
• If swelling does occur, loosen and re-fasten or replace tape to relieve the tension.

Instructions for Use

• Ensure skin is dry and clean before application.
• Cut the tape to the required length. The tape length should extend at least one-half inch beyond the dressing.
• Apply the tape and to promote skin health, do not stretch or apply with tension over areas where tape will be adhering directly to skin.
• Smooth down the tape with your fingertips to ensure good adhesion.
